The Alarm Monitoring System MAS is microprocessor controlled and monitors analogue and binary measuring points. The system is warning in case of critical condition, the Display is arranged with LED and LCD or via Monitors. The Exhaust gas Temperature is monitored, the mean value is calculated and excess is alarmed. Group Alarms are Indicated in the Wheelhouse or in the Engineers Cabins. The Light Panel System SLP is arranged acc. to SOLAS Regulations and informs the crew in the Engine Room optically and acoustically. The Safety System MSS is used for Emergency Shut Down or Slow Down of the Propulsion Engine and consists of the same Components as the Alarm Monitoring System MAS and the Reefer Container Monitoring System RCMS.
